Introducing Revolutionary LOVE®
A newsletter by the Revolutionary Lover and Disabled Oracle, Sulaiman R. Khan.
Hey there, dearest lovers! It’s Sulaiman, the Founder and Praxis Revolutionary Lover at Revolutionary LOVE®. I’m excited to launch the Revolutionary LOVE® newsletter and look forward to writing it and creating Revolutionary LOVE® through words, in community and interdependence.
[Open Quote] “To love well is the task in all meaningful relationships, not just romantic bonds.” [End Quote]

The Newsletter
The bell hooks quote above has always hit me deep, and this is one of the sparks that launched Revolutionary LOVE®. So, what is this newsletter about? This newsletter is about words to champion Revolutionary LOVE®. We may also have guest posts.
Words are weapons. Use them wisely.
I love writing. I believe in the imagination and power of words, so, I had to create this newsletter as part of the Revolutionary LOVE® brand.
This newsletter is imagined, explored, and shared in Crip Time1. As a Global Majority2 Disabled AF man, this aligns with my existence.
The Founder
Sexy, spicy, and sacred. I’m proudly the Founder and Praxis Revolutionary Lover of Revolutionary LOVE®.
Daringly integrating Disability. I’m a multiple award-winning Disabled AF: Founder, Speaker, and Activist. I’m a Disabled Oracle.
I’m the Founder and Chief Radical Officer of ThisAbility® Limited, a Disabled (and Person of The Global Majority)-owned Disability Justice business. A sought-after radical speaker, I’m a joyful activist from his first breath, with every breath until my last breath.
Ultimately, my life’s work and goal are to create radical, infinite, interdependent ecosystems of care (and curiosity) design, Access Intimacy for collective liberation, and acts of daily Revolutionary LOVE®.
The Ownership
Back in September 2023, Mama said another profound thing to me:
[Open Quote] “Why do Disabled people like you create things, but you don’t own things?” [End Quote]
This felt profound, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. As a Disabled entrepreneur of colour, this particularly resonates with me.
I decided to trademark Revolutionary LOVE®. So, I am delighted to share that on 8 December 2023, Revolutionary LOVE® was registered as a trademark of ThisAbility® Limited at the Intellectual Property Office of the United Kingdom. The UK Trademark number is UK00003954175.
I will lead Revolutionary LOVE® to start owning what we create and start thriving into the future, in comunity and for comunity.
The Brand
So, what’s Revolutionary LOVE® about? The Book, Newsletter, Podcast, and Event to create, champion, challenge (for), and celebrate Revolutionary LOVE®. We choose Revolutionary LOVE® as our North Star for the collective liberation of all of our kin (by blood or bond, our human and more-than-human kin (particularly fungi), and our inner and outer selves).
From climate justice to Disability Justice and everything in between, Revolutionary LOVE® is a direct response to the global climate of enormous change and revolution we’re currently witnessing. It brings my wisdom, richness, interdependence, and Revolutionary LOVE® into the universe.
It builds on my life’s work and goal to create radical, infinite, interdependent ecosystems of care (and curiosity) design, Access Intimacy for collective liberation, and acts of daily Revolutionary LOVE®.
Love is our ultimate KPI x
The Gratitude
Obviously, nothing is done in isolation. As I’m all about interdependence and Revolutionary LOVE®, there are a few points of gratitude.
First, I want to express my profound gratitude to living legend Martha Awojobi who facilitated a panel that heavily touched on love at the last ever BAME Online Conference in 2023 (now Uncharitable). The panel sparked the idea of Revolutionary LOVE®.
I also want to give All About Love: New Visions by bell hooks, Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī, global funga, trees, my (sexy, spicy, and sacred) heart, my juicy soul, the rich wisdom of my ancestors and descendants, my courageous intuition, my curious compassion, Pakistani mangoes, my Disability, Disability Justice, Indigenous Wisdom, interdependence, and Access Intimacy. These ignition and influences pushed me forward to put Revolutionary LOVE® out into the universe as part of my ongoing living legacy.
Finally, I wish to give my infinite Revolutionary LOVE® and gratitude to my dearest Disabled friend, the legendary Disabled Designer
. Jessica created the spicy and playful Design Identity for Revolutionary LOVE®, which I absolutely love. Thank you, Jess!A new adventure of Revolutionary LOVE® awaits.
Onwards and Upwards xx
Like funga and nature, I live, work, exist, play, and love in Crip Time. In short, Crip Time is the bending of time (and time travel) that Disabled people are experts in practising, and centres Disabled bodies and minds by and for Disabled people through interdependence and Revolutionary LOVE®.
People of the Global Majority: coined by Rosemary M. Campbell-Stephens MBE is “a collective term that first and foremost speaks to and encourages those so-called, to think of themselves as belonging to the majority on planet earth. It refers to people who are Black, African, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and or, have been racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’. Globally these groups currently represent approximately eighty per cent (80%) of the world’s population, making them the global majority now, and with current growth rates, notwithstanding the Covid-19 pandemic, they are set to remain so for the foreseeable future. Understanding that singular truth may shift the dial, it certainly should permanently disrupt and relocate the conversation on race.” (R. Campbell-Stephens, 2020). This aligns wholeheartedly with my Disabled AF British-Pakistani loving existence and Queer creative energy. It is my way of wheeling away from all systems of oppression. It is my way of no longer being capitalism’s plaything, ableism’s commodity, racism’s tool for power, colonialism’s puppet for violence, white supremacy culture and imperialism’s fetish for manipulation, cis-able neocolonial-racist-supremacist heteronormative patriarchy’s armour for bullying, and oppression’s pawn for harm.
