Hey there, dearest lovers!
14 August 2024.
It's Pakistan's independence day. So, in honour of my ancestral heritage, following my introductory blog post and after our soft launch on social media, I am delighted to share the design identity launch for Revolutionary LOVE®.
I’m excited to finally launch Revolutionary LOVE®, we’re now live!

A Message from Sulaiman
Sexy, spicy, and sacred. I’m proudly the Founder and Praxis Revolutionary Lover of Revolutionary LOVE®.
However, before we proceed, three things to note:
Whatever and however you see in my Disabled AF Bodymind, I don’t give a fuck. I owe you nothing.
Whether or not I “inspire” you, I don’t wanna know.
I’m (re)imagining the story I tell about myself and the story I’m creating for myself in interdependence and Revolutionary LOVE®.
Community Commitment
Like all my work and everything I create, I want to start with a Community Commitment to set the tone for this blog post and be our commitment to ourselves and each other for Revolutionary LOVE®, as below:
Safe and brave space. Create safety within Access Intimacy for People of the Global Majority1 and those who are at the intersection of multiple systems of oppression, and be a brave space for those who are traditionally centred.
No shade, no judgment. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable with compassion and grace for ourselves and each other.
Be ready to (re)learn. Be open-minded, open-hearted, and open-spirited to practice curiosity, compassion, and courage together with an ethic of progression over perfection.
Space for interdependence and love. Nothing is done in isolation, and we have Revolutionary LOVE® as our North Star.
Be radical. Because we must “grasp things at the root” as Angela Y. Davis says for all of us (by blood or bond, human and more-than-human, and our inner and ourselves) to get free together.
[Open Quote] “Liberated relationships are one of the ways we actually create abundant justice, the understanding that there is enough attention, care, resource, and connection for all of us to access belonging, to be in our dignity, and to be safe in community.” [End Quote]

About me
Who’s this?
Daringly integrating Disability. I’m a multiple award-winning Disabled AF: Founder, Speaker, and Activist. I’m a Disabled Oracle. I’m the (radical) Disabled friend and Revolutionary Lover you wish you had. 🔥
I’m the Founder and Chief Radical Officer of ThisAbility® Limited, a Disabled (and Person of The Global Majority)-owned Disability Justice business. A sought-after radical speaker, I’m a joyful activist from his first breath, with every breath until my last breath.
Ultimately, my life’s work and goal are to create radical, infinite, interdependent ecosystems of care (and curiosity) design, Access Intimacy for collective liberation, and acts of daily Revolutionary LOVE®.
Disabled designer of my dreams
I wish to give my infinite Revolutionary LOVE® and gratitude to my dearest Disabled friend, the legendary Disabled Designer
. Jessica created the spicy and playful Design Identity for Revolutionary LOVE®, which I absolutely love.Jessica is the Disabled Designer of my dreams:
I chose to work with the Disabled designer Jessica Oddi.
I wanted to work with Jessica because I value Jessica’s wisdom and I wanted to invest in Disabled people.
I wanted to create a redesign that was accessible, playful, and joyful.
Jessica was my first choice to commission for this project.
Thank you, Jessica!
Intentions
Our intentions for Revolutionary LOVE® were created in interdependence and Access Intimacy. They inclued:
To make it accessible.
To have a radical and pleasurable essence to reflect love as a revolutionary act. After all, love is our KPI!
To have fun! The design focuses on vibrancy. Imperfect shapes. No rigid rules.
To have base colours and type similar to ThisAbility® Ltd and Sulaiman R. Khan.
Logos

Supporting Elements
Design identity has heart and ink blot wallpapers, and quotes.
Find jagged or rounded shapes as supporting graphics. Layer and overlap multiple elements.
Cut-out photographs or place them in clipping mask shapes.
Keep a radical theme with bold and fun pieces that are thicker.

Colour Palette
The palette has been custom tailored to Revolutionary LOVE. Light and dark bases pair against pinks, mint, and lavender.
Accessibility
The Design Identity has accessibility built into its heart with care and Access Intimacy:
This is not an accessibility statement solely for compliance. This website was a collaboration between myself for Revolutionary LOVE® and Disabled designer Jessica Oddi. It was developed with the core belief that Access is Love — the incredible project by Alice Wong, Mia Mingus, and Sandy Ho.
We are in community to constantly learn, unlearn, and change practices. If you're a Disabled comrade, we'd love to know about your experience on this site.
Want to flag issues, or leave some love? Contact Sulaiman (subject: Accessibility) or email Jessica (oddi[dot]jessica[at]gmail.com) for assistance.
[Open Quote] “Accessibility is a necessity and not a luxury. That why, along with anti-racism, decolonisation, and anti-oppression work and daily existence through active, tangible progress and actions: Without centring Accessibility (in all its forms for Disabled people), anti-ableism, and Disability Justice in all social justice movements, there is no movement.” [End Quote]

Website
Wheeling, forwards
So, as a reminder, what’s Revolutionary LOVE®?
The Book, Newsletter, Podcast, and Event to create, champion, challenge (for), and celebrate Revolutionary LOVE®. We choose Revolutionary LOVE® as our North Star for the collective liberation of all of our kin (by blood or bond, our human and more-than-human kin (particularly fungi), and our inner and outer selves).
From environmental justice to Disability Justice and everything in between, Revolutionary LOVE® is a direct response to the current global climate of enormous change and revolution. It is my way of bringing my wisdom, richness, interdependence, and Revolutionary LOVE® into the universe.
It builds on my life’s work and goal to create radical, infinite, interdependent ecosystems of care (and curiosity) design, Access Intimacy for collective liberation, and acts of daily Revolutionary LOVE®. Simply, it’s part of my ongoing living legacy.
Again, Revolutionary LOVE® is our However, as our I will wheel forwards with Revolutionary LOVE® in Crip Time2. Walking is overrated!
If you dare, check out our website and share!
Onwards and Upwards xx
People of the Global Majority: coined by Rosemary M. Campbell-Stephens MBE is “a collective term that first and foremost speaks to and encourages those so-called, to think of themselves as belonging to the majority on planet earth. It refers to people who are Black, African, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and or, have been racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’. Globally these groups currently represent approximately eighty per cent (80%) of the world’s population, making them the global majority now, and with current growth rates, notwithstanding the Covid-19 pandemic, they are set to remain so for the foreseeable future. Understanding that singular truth may shift the dial, it certainly should permanently disrupt and relocate the conversation on race.” (R. Campbell-Stephens, 2020). This aligns wholeheartedly with my Disabled AF British-Pakistani loving existence and Queer creative energy. It is my way of wheeling away from all systems of oppression. It is my way of no longer being capitalism’s plaything, ableism’s commodity, racism’s tool for power, colonialism’s puppet for violence, white supremacy culture and imperialism’s fetish for manipulation, cis-able neocolonial-racist-supremacist heteronormative patriarchy’s armour for bullying, and oppression’s pawn for harm.
Like nature, particularly fungi, I live, work, exist, play, and love in Crip Time. In short, Crip Time is the bending of time (and time travel) that Disabled people are experts in practising, and centres Disabled bodies and minds by and for Disabled people through interdependence and Revolutionary LOVE®.
Heck yes it is my friend!!
